Elevate Students
Putting Students First
Dennis McNamara believes the Pasadena Unified School District must refocus on its most important mission: helping every student succeed.
Every decision made by the PUSD Board should be guided by a simple question: Will this improve outcomes and opportunities for our students?
That means putting greater focus and resources into the classroom while also recognizing that student success depends on safe campuses, strong support services, effective infrastructure, engaged families, and a financially stable school district.
He has taken the time to understand the issues, engage with our schools and communities, ask difficult questions, and develop clear positions. He has held several community positions and volunteers regularly at the district. He is familiar with the different departments and has worked with PEF for years. Most importantly, I believe Dennis understands that representing District 7 requires both advocating fiercely for our neighborhoods and recognizing our responsibility to build a strong and sustainable public school system for every child in Pasadena and Altadena.
Dennis McNamara has demonstrated a consistent and substantive interest in PUSD.
